On March 31, 2025, Rouby Industrie carried out a remarkable logistics operation as part of the construction project at the Custines Grand Gabarit lock on the Moselle River, located in Meurthe-et-Moselle between Nancy and Pont-à-Mousson.

Transporting the new upstream and downstream gates required an unprecedented effort for the company. With a width of 7.20 meters, the convoy demanded meticulous planning and significant resources: five escort vehicles and four motorcycles were mobilized to ensure safety and smooth transit over the course of three days using two trucks.

One particularly delicate stage occurred at departure, when the gates of the Rouby site had to be dismantled to allow the load to pass, requiring flawless coordination among the teams.
