Ideatec recognized even in the middle kingdom !

Ideatec specializes in manufacturing equipment for storage, distribution, and orientation. This time, their expertise in distribution assemblies has made its way to China.
As part of an order for 9 distribution assemblies, Ideatec impressed the teams working for Volvo through one of their suppliers. For the occasion, testimony was provided by Marion Gauthier, Export Sales Manager, and Olivier Pétrequin, Industrial Director, about this internationally significant project.
How did this project come from Asia?
Actually, it’s not the first time we’ve worked for Volvo. However, it was a surprise when Chinese intermediaries got involved. Proof that even in the Far East, Ideatec’s equipment can win people over! These were clients based in China who decided to take advantage of our know-how.
What were the main challenges with this order?
To meet this challenge, we had to be responsive and agile to manage all the project validation stages, despite the time difference, which may seem minor.
In short, while the physical journey of our distribution assemblies isn’t that huge, the operation itself is, as China is placing the order for factories based in Ghent, Belgium.
When is the final delivery for this globe-spanning project?
We scheduled delivery of all the equipment by the end of October!
